Burlington County’s election officials have counted all the votes and the results are in: during the General Election held on November 6, 2018, Councilman Tim Howard was re-elected and public office-newcomer Michelle McCann was elected to Council as well. Both will now serve three-year terms on Borough Council. Congratulations Tim and Michelle!
Councilpersons-elect Tim Howard and Michelle McCann will now be officially sworn into office for their respective three-year terms during the Borough’s Annual Reorganization Meeting to be held on January 7, 2019.
We all wish the very best for the newest members of our Governing Body!
Also, special thanks to Councilman Lew Yetter and Council-candidates Frank Cosky and Susan VanEmburgh for their dedicated and much appreciated commitment to our community. Best wishes and good luck in all you do in the future!
It’s certainly not an easy thing to do to “stick your neck out” and run for elected office so it’s very special when five of our neighbors, each committed to this community in their own way, decide to do so. Thank you everyone for your commitment to Palmyra and our residents!
