Borough looking to assist more homes in need of repair!

In August, the Borough of Palmyra will be applying to the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs for federal funds* to assist more Palmyra homeowners with needed home repairs.  The goal is to partner the federal funds with the existing, and very successful, Palmyra Housing Rehabilitation Program**, which currently has only a few remaining openings.    Eligible homeowners can receive up to approximately $20,000 in repairs or replacements of sub-standard major home systems such as roof, electric, plumbing, heating, foundation, windows, and more.

The Burlington County Bridge Commission, on behalf of Palmyra, has retained Community Grants, Planning & Housing, LLC, (CGP&H) to prepare the application to the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. In order to qualify for the grant funding it is imperative to demonstrate eligible homeowners’ interest and housing repair needs.
