Borough Ordinances & Resolutions for September 2013

The following Ordinance was Introduced during the month of September 2013.

Ordinance 2013-28:  An Ordinance amending Ordinance 2013-17, an Ordinance of the Borough of Palmyra requiring the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy upon the sale of any residential property, and Ordinance 2013-25, which amended same.  This ordinance will amend the noted ordinances to allow for comments offered by local Real Estate Professionals to be incorporated in the final version.  Ordinance 2013-17 is on indefinite hold.

The following Ordinance was Continued until October 21, 2013.

Ordinance 2013-27:  An Ordinance repealing the BID.  This ordinance repeals the previously created Business Improvement District.

The following Resolutions were Approved during the month of September 2013.  Please note that more routine matters were conducted as well.

Resolution 2013-197, awarding Charles Street improvement project to Charles Marandino, LLC in the amount of $301,927.

Resolution 2013-198, approving a grant application to the NJ DOT to fund the Broad Street Traffic Calming Project.

Resolution 2013-199, approving a grant application to the NJ DOT to fund the W. Second St. improvement project.

Resolution 2013-200, approving a grant application to the NJ DOT to fund the S. Broad St. improvement project.

Resolution 2013-201, authorizing a state-contract award to Pierce Manufacturing, Inc., for the purchase of a new fire truck and approved options in the amount of $467,029.76

Resolution 2013-202, awarding a contract to Pierce Manufacturing for the purchase of miscellaneous fire truck options in the amount of $35,952.93.

Resolution 2013-203, appointing Clarence Belton, Jennifer O’Connell and Richard Mood as Substitute Crossing Guards.

Resolution 2013-205, authorizing the purchase of three in-car Police patrol mobile computers in the amount of $15,233.70.

Resolution 2013-207, appointing Tracy Kilmer as Housing Official until December 31, 2013 with no increase in salary.

Resolution 2013-208, appointing CGP&H as temporary Housing Inspectors until December 31, 2013.

Resolution 2013-210, authorizing payment to Rileigh’s Outdoor Décor for storage and maintenance of Borough’s holiday decorations.

Resolution 2013-213, authorizing purchase of Ready Solutions READYcomm web application with GEOmapping for $705.

Resolution 2013-214, establishing fee for rental unit and CO inspections at $79.
