Burlington County Energy Aggregation Program – Notice of Termination

Unfortunately, by now all residents who participated in the Burlington County Energy Aggregation Program received notice in the mail from TRIEAGLE Energy (the electricity supplier) that the program has been cancelled due to changes in the energy market and new regulations adopted by the state and federal governments. As a result it is no longer possible for TRIEAGLE Energy to provide rates lower than the default rate provided by PSE&G.

It’s very important to note however, that since its inception in 2016 the program helped deliver over $1,000,000 in energy savings to Burlington County residents.

Moving forward there is no need for Palmyra residents to do anything as you will automatically be returned to the Basic Generation Service (BGS) provided by PSE&G. PSE&G will be notifying you of that as well.

We’ve also now learned that additional changes are being considered by the state for 2019, which may permit residents to again take advantage of lower BGS rates in the future.
