TAX CLERK– TAX COLLECTOR’S OFFICE
PALMYRA BOROUGH, BURLINGTON COUNTY
Palmyra Borough is currently seeking a candidate with excellent math and customer service skills with the ability to handle large amounts of cash to work in the Tax Collector’s Office. Responsibilities include accurately processing all receipts for taxes and sewer, balancing/reconciling cash/check batches daily, assisting customers at counter and on telephone, performing clerical and general office duties including filing and record keeping and performing other duties as may be assigned by the Tax Collector and Administrator. High school education, Microsoft Excel and two years cashiering experience required. Preference is given to qualified Palmyra residents and Tax Office experience is preferred. Salary Range $12.00 -$20.00/hr., commensurate with experience.
