PBCA Business Alliance
What is the P.B.C.A.?
We as business owners are part of a community and a neighborhood.
Becoming a member of the, “PALMYRA BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY ALLIANCE” has given me the opportunity to be connected in a way that transcends promotions, advertising and sales.
We have children coming in at Halloween to count plastic insects in our
store window for the Halloween Bug Contest. Last year we hosted our first
“A NIGHT ON THE TOWN FOLLOWED BY A DAY OF SHOPPING” where we had the
opportunity to meet and socialize with everyone from residents to the
chief of Police and offer a discount package exclusive to the event. We
all can’t wait for this years in March.
The members are also a wealth of information, if you want to know
something about anything going on in Palmyra, someone in the alliance has
the 411. Their knowledge could fill volumes. Ultimately it is the
relationships that drive small businesses. People like to patronize in a
place where they know the owners name and feel appreciated. Last February,
we, at Positive Hair Design celebrated a very successful first year at our
new location in the heart of Palmyra’s vibrantly growing business district
and we owe it in part to our membership in the alliance and the
relationships we formed from it. So many people have been so helpful and
have gone out of their way to be of service to us. I’m sure we have made
relationships that will last a lifetime. It’s great to be involved in
directing the energy of our community in a positive fashion. There is
strength in numbers. We really do make a positive impact, from the banners
we hang to the concert and festivals we plan. We help make Palmyra “A
Place To Grow.”
Thank you, P. B. C. A.
