OVER 70 VOLUNTEERS INCLUDING STUDENTS, PARENTS, TEACHERS, SCOUTS AND OTHER GROUPS TURNED OUT TO DONATE THEIR TIME ON MLK DAY OF SERVICE! OVER 200 CARE PACKAGES WERE PREPARED FOR OUR SOLDIERS AND WILL BE SENT TO OPERATION GRATITUDE!

MUCH NEEDED SUPPLIES FOR THE HOMELESS WERE ALSO DONATED TO AN ORGANIZATION BASED IN TRENTON, NJ!

THIS IS PALMYRA RESIDENTS CARING ABOUT THEIR GREATER COMMUNITY!

The Borough is looking for volunteers to join us in a letter writing campaign and packing “care packs” for the military and the homeless.

Please drop off any of the following items to the Community Center or Palmyra Borough Hall and then join us as we write to our troops and send care packs of love and support.

All Purpose Wipes (Single & 30 Ct. Packs or Less)

Batteries (“AA” and/or “AAA”)

Deodorant (Travel Size, non-aerosol)

Drink Mix (Individual Serving Packets)

Gum

Hand Warmers

Jerky (Individual Bags)

Lip Balm

Pencils (Mechanical Preferred)

Playing Cards

Powder (Travel Size)

Puzzle Books (7×10 Preferred sized)

Sewing kits (Travel Size)

Socks (Black Crew Length)

Sunscreen (Travel Size, non-aerosol)

Toothpaste & brush (Travel Size)

Handmade with Love items:

  • Cool Ties
  • Knit or Crocheted Hats and Scarves
  • Paracord Survival Bracelets

Please note: all donated items must have a shelf-life/expiration date of at least 6 months from the date of our receipt in order to be useful to our troops and the homeless!
