Spotlighters Theater Classes
Games, Games, GAMES!
You love theater games…and so do we! Come to the Palmyra Community Center Mondays and Tuesdays for a solid hour of fun and fast-moving theater games to develop performance skills in a group learning environment. Participants will engage in age-appropriate theater games and activities that will improve concentration, focus, coordination, cooperation, improv and creativity skills.

Spotlighters I Theater Games!
Ages: 4-7 Time: 3:30-4:30 (No class Nov 2nd)
Dates: Mondays, September 21st -Nov. 16th.

Spotlighters II Theater Games and Improv
Ages: 8-12. Time: 6-7 (No class Nov. 3rd)
Dates: Tuesdays, September 22nd – Nov. 17th.
Cost: $30 for Palmyra residents, non-residents $40. 8 weeks. Registration is required; please see our website or email us for a form.

1st Friday Music Series
Join us in the community room for a variety of musicians and singers the first Friday of every month from 8-9PM.  The Community Room is located down the main hall, last room on the right. Cost is a donation to the local food pantry.

October 2nd IT TAKES TWO! AN EVENING OF BROADWAY ON BROAD STREET. Teachers by day, performers by night, Melissa Manzano and Josh Bessinger have brought their talents to a wide variety of music and theater venues throughout the Delaware Valley. Sit back, relax, and enjoy some great Broadway solos and duets (without the train fare to NYC!).

November 6th Bob Andrews Trio, also known as Two Smart Guys and Bob, sing and play songs that will make you smile and cry and laugh and remember. Sometimes artists are terrific performers and sometimes they’re wonderful storytellers. In the Bob Andrews Trio you have the perfect marriage. Where good company and good music meet.

Learn to play piano With Mark Brown of Musik Haus Studios in Palmyra
Ages 7-11 Tuesdays 6-7PM
Ages 12 to Adult Tuesdays 7-8PM
$45 for 8 weeks September 22st through November 17th (No class November 3rd) (Non Residents $55)

Group lessons will give beginners of all ages a fun and informal opportunity to learn the basics of playing piano.  Students will learn how to read sheet music, proper technique and music theory.  There are also optional performance opportunities. Music and Movement For Tots
Help develop your child’s ear for music, by making music and playing fun singing games.  Parent participation is necessary.
Ages: 6 mo. to 4 yrs Time: Monday Mornings 11 to Noon
Dates: September 14th through November 16th (No Class November 2nd)
Cost: Donation for our Food Pantry.

KnitWits, Wednesday
Knit, share and learn from one another. All ages welcome.

Open Studio Sketch Class
An opportunity to exercise your drawing interests with a new still life set-up each week. Come draw with your own dry medium; pencil, charcoal, pastel, colored pencils, conte crayons. This is a non-instructional class for all artistic levels so bring your own materials! Grab your drawing boards, sketchbooks, paper and there will be an optional showcase at the final session to view the many “interpretations” of a single still life! Feel free to drop in or attend every class.
Age: 13 and up  Time: Thursday 7-9PM
Dates: September 24th to November 12th.

Glam Camp
This EXCITING class is a GREAT introduction class if you are interested in learning how to sew and conquer construction techniques. Learn to thread the sewing machine, use of a pattern, complete a fabric and cutting lesson, learn hand-sewing techniques plus basic sewing terminology. Registration required.

SAT Prep Class
Five week study fest
Host: Palmyra High School teacher, Mrs. Foster. Class is $50 for Palmyra High School students.
Dates: September 26th, October 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 31st.
