Burlington County Emergent Notification System
The Burlington County Office of Emergency Management has purchased the CODE RED emergency notification system, and that system is provided for the Palmyra Police Department, as well as all Police Departments in Burlington County, to use. The CODE RED system will allow the Palmyra Department to deliver short voice messages to all the telephones in Palmyra in the event of an emergency.
The CODE RED system contains a Verizon 911 database of the land line telephone numbers in Palmyra. If you have a land line telephone in your home or business in Palmyra, your number is already in the system and you will receive any emergency messages that are sent out to your neighborhood. In addition to this, all citizens can self-register additional cell phone or other telephone numbers and their email address.
