Rehabilitated Red-Tailed Hawk to be Released at Palmyra Cove Nature Park

The Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge will release a rehabilitated Red-Tailed Hawk back into the wild on Tuesday, October 1st at 1:00 PM.

Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge Executive Director Jeanne Gural, a former Palmyra resident and 1981 Palmyra High School graduate, will be releasing the rehabilitated raptor at the Palmyra Cove Nature Park. The young hawk was found at the Nature Park with head injuries.

Unfortunately this will probably be Jeanne’s last time experiencing something like this in Palmyra as she’s moving on to a new opportunity with The Wilderness Center in Wilmont, Ohio. See the press release including some of Jeanne’s accomplishments HERE.
